About StudentPrint
we TOTALLY print stuff
So what is StudentPrint? Simply put, we are a non-profit printshop.
That means we print, fax, copy or design things for you at low low low prices. Any small profit we make is reinvested into technology and education, not into our pockets like commercial printshops.
In addition, we are a completely student-run and owned business. Student employees make all business decisions concerning StudentPrint. That means we are all working to make StudentPrint the best it can be and at the same time learning how to run a small business.
Who do we serve? Anyone who wants to come in and do business with us! We typically work with a lot of student groups on campus but we also serve the general public. So, no you do not have to be a student to use our services.
What can we do for you? We can print, copy, design, scan to .pdf, fax and provide finishing services. We also sell course readers for low prices in accordance with the UW's agreement to a fair-use policy of the materials reproduced in a course reader.
Where are we located? Currently we are located at b114 Memorial Union on 800 Langdon Street. But we will be moving to a new location in the Student Activities Center in 2009. For now, our printshop is down the stairs at the end of the first floor hallway near Hoofers where the old Games Room used to be located. If you don't have any idea what that means, come in the front of Memorial Union and ask for StudentPrint at the Information Desk just inside the front door. Or check out a map of the union here.
